Since a lot of us are in winter I was wondering what your egg count is in spring and what it is right now.

Out of three hens I'm getting two eggs day now! Down 1 egg:(

Hi Deb:) Welcome to the site!

Are all of your girls over a year old or is this there 1st year? The two of mine that are laying are starting to lay for the 1st time.

I'm in Flagstaff, AZ and have 41 hens :woohoo: . With the shorter/colder days, we're only getting an egg every other day or so. In the summer, it's easily a couple dozen a day!

Wow man! that is a lot of chickens and not a lot of eggs. I get just about an egg a day from each chicken Eric. I noticed from some of your videos you seem to live in a mountain area so I was thinking the sun drops fast at your house?

I am sure you love your girls and it is a gift having them anyways:)

Yeah, we're in the mountains of AZ. 7000' elevation, and when the sun goes down, it does go fast and the temp goes right along with it! That being said, I actually got 2 eggs today!
