Hi- My wife, Lori and I have been working on creating an Aquaponic Urban Farm. We started with Koi pond, which was soon ransacked by a Prehistoric looking bird - just a crane actually - so we dug the pond deeper, and deeper still with more cover in the pond for the fish to hide. Next we instated raised beds for a veg., garden with water coming from the bottom of the pond. We call this outdoor aquaponics. Over the last five years the summer storms have wreck havoc on our garden. Wilting heat, or torrential rains and machine gun hail, so next is a green house...

Ha ha ha!! I had a little koi pond once and yep, the same prehistoric creature took my fish. Great looking garden and pond:)

Did you use SketchUp for the drawing out plans? That is awesome!

Fantastic! Better than mowing grass eh?

yes Sketchup. Still takes me a month of Sundays to make anything, yet better to take time in the planing stage then be calling myself a dummy latter while trying to put a square peg in a round hole. Have you seen our kickstarter video?

That's for sure- What is grass is good for besides mowing? I need a non-mow no-grow grass - stops at 3".

You mind sharing your Sketchup file here so I can have a better look? That is cool! I am just starting to use it myself:) Planing twice as long makes the job that much easier for sure!

I did see your start up video. You really need to get your videos on youtube so you can get an income from ads. It will help fund your project.

Get a youtube account then let me know what the user name is, upload videos you've done, and I will give you the next step:) I think you are a natural for making howto videos bro!

I used to have an Oscar fish tank and they would eat from my hand and let me pet them:) They would even let me pick them up without being scared!
