So I got a lot of ideas from members on Facebook but the one we decided to try first is Lady Bugs.
It said to put the lady bugs in the refrigerator for at least an hour before letting them out in the garden in the evening. Also spray water on the plants you plan on releasing them around because they will be thirsty once you release them. The package came with a lil wet sponge and some food. So we released them this evening and they went to work on the afid right away.

So how are your plans looking today? Any changes in the aphid population:) Another thing you will notice that comes around when you have a bad aphid problem is hover flies. If you watch them closely you will see them land and deposit little eggs. Those little eggs hatch soon thereafter and you have something that looks like an maggot crawling on your plants which are actually a huge benefit!

They'd so many aphids you will not have any left in a day or so!

I normally don't mind bugs and spiders but I don't want them to eat all my food *giggle*
The lady bugs this morning were hard at work all over the broccoli.
I was telling Ralph that dumping the Lady Bugs out was a lot less stressful than pouring the bees into the hives lol

Ha ha ha!! I bet my friend:) When I see lady bugs it puts a smile on my face. Bees did not always do that but the more I learned about them the more they put a smile on my face!
