My Maine Garden 04 Aug 2014 09:56 #2063

The chickens have full custody of the garden from late fall to early spring then I flip the beds and the area where their coop/run was into this garden... Everything in organic and natural-NO pesticides or miracle grow... I planted cukes, radishes, carrots, garlic, various tomatoes, peppers, and herbs... I'm trying a row of corn this year and some "Italian Sunflowers" ... A few tomatoes have randomly come up from last year so I'm encouraging 3 of those to grow as an unplanned surprise... And I can't forget the Heirloom raspberries from my father-in-law ...

Looks awesome! You ever hear of chicken tunnels (aka chunnels)? You can make Tonnele's and let them go to the garden beds of your choice:) Garden looks nice and green!
