Because of food prices and generally jsut liking to grow things I decided to start a small backyard garden. And chickens :) I havent ever regreted it. I have been doing this for a bit over a year now. I grow Tomatoes, tomatillos, bell pepper, hot and banana peppers. I do squash, zucchini, okra and a few others as well. I have 7 full grown chickens, 1 Rooster 6 layers. Omelet form the backyard :) how many people can say that?! this year I plan on creating an aquaponic garden using Blue Tilapia or channel catfish. its great to be able to get the whole family out working in the garden and passing on the idea of sustainability adn responsibility.

Well, things are looking very good:) I've never grown tomatillos before but I am wanting to next year! Do they grow like tomatoes?

The fresh omelette from the backyard is always a good idea and not one person I really know can say they got their omelettes from the backyard so we are step ahead of most people!
