:silly: I have two raised beds that are 4' x 24" and one small one 2'x6'
Left bed has cantaloupe, watermelon, honeydew, carrots, green beans and cucumbers, right bed has tomatoes, peppers, jalepenos, eggplant, broccoli, kale, onions and leeks. Center bed has strawberries that I started late, and plan to keep pinching the flowers off of to make them bear more next spring. I also have basil, oregano, cilantro, parsley and stevia in pots.

I don't think you have much to worry about with your garden. Nice green and lush! The watermelon and honeydew will come in latter but the fruit will be so good:) What kind of watermelon do you have growing?

Is the Stevia hard to grow? Does it have to be in a pot?

I tried starting stevia plants from seed and man it was tough! I may just buy a plant this coming year:)

Matt, I am not really sure what type of watermelons I am growing. I saved the seeds from two types I grew last year (Sugar Baby and something else) that started to cross pollinate. These will be surprise watermelons, like most of my tomatoes. I saved a bunch of different kinds of seeds and can't remember which I saved.

The stevia I bought as a plant for my friend and I just divided it and I am keeping it in a pot for now because I don't know much about it.

My green beans are starting to come in, so here we go!

That's what I'm growing, sugar babies:) Very good little watermelon!! It's hard to keep track of all the plants but when you find a good one try and make sure to get seeds so that you can always repeat the same awesome flavors! I can see you're into surprises and that is just awesome!

From what I've read about Stevia it can be a very invasive plant so until you find out how it spreads I would keep it in the pot. Very wise decision:) I also heard that if you want to get another plant out of it you can strike it by clipping it, dip the clipping and honey, and planted like you would the normal plant. Worth a shot I think. I also know they are very difficult to start a new plant from seed because the germination rate is very low. I think I will be starting with the plan this coming year! ;)

Do you like grilled asparagus? If you do then you would love grilled green beans!! Blows grilled asparagus out of the water!
