Last winter I put together some planter boxes out of scrap wood I had laying around.

The other side of the garden is the coop and run I made out of scrap wood and pallets. I did all the work myself. My husband is on oxygen 24/7 and can't help me with anything outside.


I'm in the high desert of Eastern AZ at an elevation of 6200ft and we have a short growing season.
We have to haul all our water or rely on God to give us rain. Our soil is desert sand.

Nice job on turning that dryland into fertile ground:) You can edit your post an ad the photos here like I showed you by the way. Just wanted to put that in your ear.

We've finally gotten some rain. Water from God is so much better for the garden than city water. Everything looks so much better than it did 3 days ago.
Peas need picked again. The beans, peppers, tomatoes, and zucchini are blooming. Feeling Blessed.

I have 5 planters that are 2'x8', 1planter that's 4'x4' with beans, 1 planter that's 3'x8' with tomatoes, and another planter in a different area that's 3'x12' with onions.
My fenced garden area is 25'x25' with the 7 planter boxes and a few things planted in the ground as well.
