I find planting in a straw bale works best when you let it sit in your chickens run so they can poop on it for the winter months!

Just the outside tilled in the ground garden.

When you can we want to see your coop (inside and out), your chickens, and anything else around the homestead! We have a little contest going on so put your guess in HERE! Happy your with us!

Marcelle45 Backyard Organic Chickens & Garden OFFLINE New Member Posts: 11 Good Job(s): 2	Thank you, I love my coop My husband did a wonderful job building it for me. As for the inside I designed it. I wanted it to be a place to make me smile when I went to collect the eggs. This is a pieced together panoramic view. With the garden yes there is plenty for the chicken's to eat and in the flower boxes I planted some edible herbs for them.
