Tips for Caring for Hydrangeas? 12 Jul 2014 11:57 #2015

I was wondering if anyone had any tips for caring for hydrangeas?

I bought a Nikko Blue Hydrangea Shrub, but the blooms are more green than blue. I know the acidity of the soil affects the color and I bought some peat moss appropriate soil for it. But I'm not sure what else I can do to help it.

Could anyone please help, I don't want this shrub to die :(

Sorry I am just seeing this "little":( How is it doing now? Have you tried to hit it with some organic fertilizer like rabbit manure? Rabbit manure does not burn your plants and it can be applied generously. It is also very high in nitrogen like chicken manure:)

If you are in the South and you have hot and humid weather, that can affect the color is well...

I found this site to be helpful and I also found something specific for you.
