I know that Hunter and Violet are not chickens but there is no place to share our ducks. They are named after my children. Scarlet was born in February and her birthstone is the amethyst. Myles is May and the emerald. Hence, Hunter and Violet. They are KC and were sold to me under the pretense that they were both proven girls and had been laying. Well, surprise!!

I hear duck eggs are better used in baking. There any truth to that?
