I fixed your photos so that you posted to your topic. When you want to share more photos read through the forums section on our Welcome Page. I did a video to show how to post photos to our forum:)

I like your watering set up. I wanted to do this, but I thought you had to hook it up to the hose outlet, and mine is quite a distance from the coop, and I was afraid the hose lying on the ground all day would give them hot water. By looking at yours, you just fill the bucket. I could even add ice on a very hot day. I like it. Do you have a video on how to make it?

here are a few photos of the water bucket.we used a female and a male adapter to hook it to the bucket.we also put a spigot valve on the end so we can drain it out.

Thanks. That looks easy enough. I am going to try that sometime this week. Is there any kind of pump or check valve in the bucket or does it all work on gravity.

just gravity.we have to scoop out a bit when we clean because it wont all run out but other wise it works like a charm.we put frozen bottles in it to cool the water when it get hot.

Our chicken coops and we attached them together for a run. Even with all you can see, we used construction site garbage diving to get all the wood we used. So much waste we found very useful..we did buy the roofing material and construction mesh, screws and water sealer. Still in seeing commercial tiny little coops going for huge $$ ours is probably worth 3,000.00$$. We laugh my daughter and I started one summer at 110 degrees and built one, of course got more chickens so built the 2nd one the next summer at 115 degrees..yep we are chicken nuts to do that one! We started with 8 in a chain link dog enclosure...one was beheaded by an Owl and another was talloned to death by Owl. So we built, then got more girls. Lost 1/2 that added flock by either heat or predator..then we built more, obtained more little chickies, we are addicted ... This summer we lost 4 girls, two to heat, two to predator..airborne and ground types. We have ordered more grand kiddies want Buff Orphingtons. We have one EE, RIR x 4, and 4 white leghorns. We have found Wyndotte to be mean hens, RIR take heat well as does Leghorns. Our one remaining EE is one of our best layers. Our Rue Bob was a woops from store so we keep him around.
