TOPIC: Building my new chicken hutch

Building my new chicken hutch 14 Jun 2014 21:10 #1586

Building my chicken hutch.
This was a work in progress.
When I was building this, my plan was to use it as a brooder or isolation for injured chickens or trouble makers. Or anytime I needed to separate any birds from the rest of the flock.

I always planned to build a coop next to this raised hutch. I started by putting legs on a pallet, and worked up from there.

Last Edit: 15 Jun 2014 22:49 by offgridhermit. Reason: added pix, I hope. ;)

I couldn't download a pix. Here is the coop and run project I did last year.

yes, getting all your messages.
Is there a way to have photo albums on my profile like I do on FB?
I even had trouble changing my profile picture. Is my other picture saved anywhere? In case I want to switch back?

We do not have the money that facebook has to store photos so I do not think you can save profile photos here:(

The video is going to help you with sharing photos on this forum:) Almost done with it!

Thanks Matt, that helped.

But I didn't get the same menu as you did when I right clicked. So I just ended up doing a copy and paste in the area you showed on your video. IT WORKED GREAT AND FAST! AND I DIDN'Y GET A FATAL ERROR THIS TIME. LOL :woohoo:

Now I can post individual pix instead of a complete album link! Thanks again friend.

(Oh, BTW, I went to Huntington Beach High School, Class of '66).

My raised 4'x4' hutch and 12'x12' coop finished. :cheer:

At the moment I have 4 big fat Cornish X in the hutch area. And 24 dual purpose pullets in the coop and run area. The run is approximately 15'x22'.
