Hey Chakory, We are a lil strange chicken people here too.
We built a chunnel all the way around our back yard so the chickens can follow us with 3 chicken yards for them to get closer to us. They love running down the chunnels to be closer to us. lol And I love going and sitting in one of the chicken yards to pet them and love on them.
Here is a picture of me and My friend Angie out playing in the compost chicken yard with the girls.

The three chicken yards are
1. the Coop yard
2. the Compost yard
3. the bunny barn yard

Each is connected with a chunnel

Yes Matt we have them built all ready. I have some photos but I want to take a video of them running through them. lol I have one of my friend Angie running with the chickens but I am betting she doesn't want me to post it here. hahaha
When we get a sunny day maybe I will go do a run with the chickens to show how awesome it is lol
But for now here are some pictures.
The first part we built we used pvc and made it square then we decided just to use some fencing post and make it triangle.Both ways work but the triangle was less work and materials.

So from the chicken coop yard they can go down the side to the back part of the yard and behind the raised beds to the compost piles then another tunnel from the compost piles to behind the bunny barn where there is another chicken yard and then we made a chicken door into the bunny barn and put up a lil gate on the bunny barn so they can come in there and play too. We are really lucky that the chickens respect our fences and gates and do not challenge them. When we open a gate they do not rush us to get out so guess they are happy with what room we give to them.

Wow Panda! I may have to try something like that when I build all my chicken tunnels:) Has it brought down your feed cost due to the fact that they can now forage?

This is awesome!! I may have to showcase a new forum post about chicken tunnels:)
