How long do i need to keep the heat lamp on? do you keep a light on at nite inside their coup?

What are the outdoor temps at night in your area lildinks? I also need to know how old those baby chicks are:) A good rule of thumb is start them out at 95 degrees and every week you can lower the temp 5 degrees.

If they are all feathered out now there is no need for a heat lamp:) I personally do not keep a heat lamp on for my chickens now because they are all feathered out now. Some people keep a light on for there chickens because light does help with egg production but I think it is best to let them have down time on egg laying.
