Making an incubator out of a cooler, after a few hours this is what I ended up with:

Hope the pics work and you can see them...
Anyway, thought I'd share that, only costs a few bucks, just hoping it will work. There is still work to be done though.

;)

Yeah maybe I will, but I think more people would see it on BYC, maybe I should write one and use it for both sites??

For humidity, we were just going to use a de-humidifier and set it to the proper percentage its suppose to be. That's the simplest thing we could come up with.

Got a big batch of eggs coming soon. No time for a test run, which makes me a little nervous.

I'll keep you posted.

Oh by the way, Hows the Mealworm farming working out?

I think you can post it on both:) This site is just getting started but I am hopping to get more and more members from my youtube channel and my facebook page. Every time I get an article here I share it on my facebook page that has over 13,000 members now!

You know my youtube channel but here is my facebook page.

No time to test is never a good idea but you have to do what you have to do at this point. Please do keep me posted! What type of chickens you getting?

I started a topic on the mealworms progress HERE!

I wrote an article here on the site explaining how to make the mealworm farm HERE!

Wow, this site must be growing fast!! :cheer:
Thanks, although I don't have Facebook, sorry.

I know, especially when stuff is home-made. But that's all I could do so I'll just do my best. I will certainly keep you posted! We ordered, Blue Andalusion, Jersey Giants, and Salmon Faverolles.

Okay I'll check that out.
No worries.

It's not growing as fast as I'd hoped but I figured like gardening I need to just be diligent:) Ha ha ha! The Lord is not mocked, for that which you sow you will also reap:)

Every time you see an area that can be improved I would so much appreciate the feedback! I am basically running all this by myself and needless to say it is a task that is very difficult:)
